Windows 7 Stuck On Attempting Repairs

After do a Windows update , the laptop would not restart. It suggested doing a Startup Repair. It ran over night, but was still stuck on "Attempting Repair". Rebooted, and tried again. Don't have an idea what to try next

hi,

There may be some issue related to HDD. attach HDD to another system and take backup after that check disk for any error, if there is any error then replace HDD or reinstall windows again.
